We currently offer three programs for adults who want to improve their educational skills through the Nova Scotia School of Adult Learning:

 

Adult Learning and Training

- Preparation to achieve a high school equivalency by passing General Educational Development (GED) tests in the areas of math, English writing and grammar, English reading, social studies and science.

- Classroom instruction on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in Antigonish

- One-on-one sessions on a flexible schedule

 

Learning for Life

- Specific skill and subject development

- Classroom instruction Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in Antigonish

- One-on-one sessions on a flexible schedule

 

Literacy and Numeracy

- One-on-one sessions on a flexible schedule

 

 

Specific Skill Development

             - We offer small classes and one-one-one tutoring for specific subjects upon request.

 

 

Adult learners should be 19 years and older and out of school for a year. However, exceptions can be made on an individual basis.
